Sheepish Grin are a highly-experienced melodeon and fiddle duo based in Nottingham who perform British traditional music for all events and ceilidhs.
Our work includes theatre, arts and music festivals, clubs, galleries and numerous private and public celebrations.
We have created Words and Music and multi-media events with poets and playwrights. We also compose and perform seasonally-themed shows incorporating music, readings and drama.
And we love ceilidhs. You have a choice of a duo, a trio or a larger band as required and we always use our own expert, knowledgeable and entertaining dance caller. The caller will lead you every step of the way.
Whatever your event, celebration, venue or special requirements please don’t hesitate to contact us.

AND A FEW COMPLIMENTARY BLEATS . . .
"Sheepish Grin? No - it gave me a big smile of pleasure last night and clearly the audience reaction showed they felt the same." John Sheppard.
"We would just like to say a big thank you to you all for performing at our wedding party last week. We have been inundated with letters of praise from our guests saying what a great time they had and that the music and dancing were fantastic."
"Just to say thanks for playing at our wedding. You truly helped make it an enjoyable and unforgettable night. We would gladly recommend you to any of our friends. Thanks again, Robert and Mary."
"Thank you for the fascinating programme you put together for our "do" . The fact that tickets sold so quickly (we had a waiting list!) was entirely the pull of the music. I particularly liked the mix of readings and music." Rachel Andrew.
